Well, for starters, I fucked up my right knee. Well, not that bad, but I was helping a neighbor move a couch into their apartment (junkyard treasure), and it had a similar base design to my couch, which has metal frames at the bottom. As graceful as I tend to be, one side of the metal frame came down hard on my knee, and it hurt like the living hell. Seeing as how this is my bad knee (I sound like I’m 50?), it just makes the deal more sweet. Half the time I’m walking around with some sort of limp, so aside from the pain, nothing is new.
I’m getting out of the house today and seeing my family. My summer has had some very odd pacing. June was busy and exciting, July has been pretty slow for the most part. Job hunting blows. I can’t understand why it’s such a hassle around here! I’ll probably start looking alot more, once college starts. Unlike your average college student, I can work a couple of shifts into my weekday, so that may give me some sort of upperhand. At least I have some small bursts of payment here and there, so I’m not always at the bottom of the barrel. My friend Casey is looking into seeing if I can get a job at the movie theater she works at. It seems like a pretty nice gig, and I know someone who works there, so it makes it all the better.
I also need to find out when school starts again. I took a small break, as my college has a year-round schedule. I was supposed to go back August 4th, but they added a week break right after I left, so I’m not sure how different the return date is. I’ve also lost my school passwords. It’s aggravating to keep up with 4 passwords for one college… So I have no idea what classes I need to attend upon my return. I’ll be sure to make some phone calls this week. At least they know I’m coming back, I hope…
Guess it’s time to drive 45 minutes with a bad leg, in crappy Greensboro/Winston-Salem traffic. Sh!t.

I think you should definately apply at Brassfeild. Cause most colleges start again at august 18. And we did fire someone.
